My name is Laura Smith, and I am from Punta Gorda, Florida. I am an MFA      animation student at Savannah College of Art and Design with dreams of pursuing production management.

Production management is where I thrive. It is where  I can grow and learn from my team members which opened my eyes to endless possibilities. From assisting my team members on my first project, "Hex Limit", I enjoyed leaving my "notes of encouragement". Being understanding of others' hardships promotes a healthy work environment. After that project, I continue to check in on my team members to ensure they are doing well.     I aspire to become a production manager.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  Whether it is traveling to new places or staying in to watch movies, I value the time I have with them. Also, it creates new stories to share with the new faces I meet along my journey.
